Comp stuffs

This is gonna be a post about well... computers.
Big surprise huh?
Well... tried to do stuff with the comp concerning file transfers for burning at inv's house... we needed a hub. So we didn't think that far ahead.
Took the comp down to eric's after two days of it sitting at inv's. Burned some stuff.. it sat there for... three? two? days.
Finally bought myself a burner.
Whooooo.
It's a nice one.
Installed it.. it works. Whoo.
Here's where something happens.
I have to take the thing home. So I get to haul it all out to my car by myself. Nothing wrong with that, up until it starts getting heavy.
Finally get it home. Half way on my way home I realize I've left my wallet at eric's house. Damnit.
In any case.. finally get the stupid thing back downstairs, all by myself again because everyone else is asleep.
Plug things in and start it up... fun fun. It gets to the "Windows XP professional" load up screen thing and then...
It dies.
Well not really.
The monitor dies. Goes into it's 'idle' stage. The comp is still running, the montior just goes poof.
So needless to say, I'm stumped.
I broked my compy ;o;
At least I hope I didn't.
What else has happened lately....?
Strange things going on at Lilymud... I don't even follow it myself. I'm more or less lost. Scanner is BROKEN. So I've gotta draw things with the mouse or just find me a new scanner or something.
Sent out a box. A package. Realized.. I really can only send out one box at a time with a price like that.
Lots more things on my mind but I can't think of much else to say at the moment.
Actually... lots of things are on my mind. Friend related things. Things that I miss. But when I say things it more or less just gets thrown back into me due to the fact others remember what I say moreso than I do. Then again perhaps one of these days when I'm bored enough, I will go back and read my lj to see all the things I've said. Hm.
