Work was so... stressful today.
It was going great and everything but then things just started getting crazy. However... I've been told I'm doing quite well for my second day of opening.
*thinks*
I forgot to clean up a mess... COMPLETELY forgot about it because of the sudden rush in things. It eventually came back to haunt me as I slipped and fell in the walk-in cooler due to the fact someone else cleaned it up... just left a really big water mess from it. Dur. Stupid me.
So I'm gonna remember to clean up meh messes asap even if I'm being timed on some other task. Such as.. SALAD MAKING. My god.. you have to make all these fscking salads by a certain time... I don't even know how to make 'em all off memory without looking at some little salad making flow chart.
Whatever. Salads are yummeh.
Then no one did dishes.
No one. o.o
So we had dishes PILED.. we had mountains of dishes. Ergh. I stayed and did 'em though.
I get to open again tomorrow! Oh joy of joys!
Well I can't say that all the things that happened today were my fault, or bad. It was just.. poor planning on everyone's part.
Having the registers go offline for a good 20 minutes didn't help during the lunch rush.. or the fact that one of our coolers was shot and someone had to come in and repair it.
*rubs at eyes* Augh.. the stress.!
*flops* . _ . I plan to sit and relax this evening... until it's time to go to bed.. and then I get to do it all over again tomorrow! Yay!
