So it begins
Feb. 18th, 2005 02:41 pmJill turned in her two weeks.. her last day is Monday.. Robert turned in his two weeks.
Although one of meh favorite peoples is coming back to work in two weeks.. at the earliest.
*sigh*
Various co-workers are plotting on quitting as well, and if that should happen, it'll be me and Cole. The only two who have any clue as to what's going on.
Corey pissed me off today, wanting me to come in, on my day off.. when he had all the people he needed. Sure, my mom guilt tripped me, saying that they covered my two shifts. Okay, first off.. this is Corey's own fault in scheduling. I don't.. DON'T do a close, followed by an open. That gives you like.. few hours of sleep, and ya get to run another nine hour work day. That was Monday, too bad I was having an asthma flare up.
Tuesday, I slipped and fell. Was in shock from the pain, and figured I could just walk it off, but then it hurt to much and I called in. Patrick was frustrated.
Gee.. I'm sorry, I must've subconsciously planned the entire thing.
So yeah, I can understand covering two shifts for people to make up for it.
What I don't understand is why are you making me work when I don't even have to be there? Doesn't that just up your labor costs? Or is this some punishment for missing those two days?
He had all his people so I asked if I could just stay until it was time to open.
Damn.. did I get chewed out for that.
"I don't care what you do, just remember that we filled in two of your shifts this week."
. _ . It was the tone of voice that told you 'Leave me the fuck alone'
Just because yer having a bad day, doesn't mean you have to take it out on your employees.
Doesn't the fact that people call in say something about the management? Allisa called in but I know for a fact she was just fine. Laughing and everything yesterday. Only thing she complained about was she forgot her chapstick. Her lips were dry. Whine bitch moan, lips.
*beats head on desk*
Yeah well.. just remember that when you morons first hired me, you took advantage of me in everyway you knew how. I was just a moron and didn't stand up for myself. Seems as though now I'm doing such, they're getting upset with me.
Damnit.. Patrick and Corey just.. ergh.. Corey moreso.
Maybe when I finally turn in my two weeks... I'll actually tell them the truth as to why I'm quitting, as well as why the other employees call in sick, quit, or simply walked out.
*mutters*
