DUDE!
Tonight was amazing awesome. I got a bus! :D :D :D
As stupid as it sounds. No seriously though. We were sitting there.. I was attempting to clean lobby... people came. I took their orders. More people came. I took their orders as well. Then a whole herd of people came. WHOOOO. So after they were all done ordering... let's also add in the fact that drive thru is ordering as well. This was like at.. 9:30. We close at 11:00. Here's where it gets funny. These kids.. were all bunched up waiting for their food like kids in an elementry school. All gathered around saying "Order number 40! Order number 40! Mine! Get mine first!" Rather amusing. *smirks*
Now then... maybe... five minutes after they're done ordering... we get a phone call.
These kids all sit down and start munching away at their food.
Heather - Manager Heather - comes out of the office and is all excited. "We're getting another BUS! Hockey players!"
*laughs at this*
So... they'd be at BK within twenty to thirty minutes. Which means....
:D I've got THAT much time to clean lobby! .... as soon as first bus people leave.
So first bus people leave and here's where it gets kinda evil... yet fun.
More random people come in as well. So... here I am.. trying to clean, Sheena's trying to take drive thru orders... we're both trying to take the front orders... two cooks in the back trying to keep up.
Finally things are under control. I get lobby cleaned and everything. We're sitting there waiting. BOOM. Second bus comes in.
Now... let's keep in mind that these are older hocky players. ... and over twenty people. *laughs* x.x; So... Heather is up front as well taking orders. These guys were funnier than the first kids.
Some wanted crowns... they still all gathered around waiting for their food. When Sheena called out a number... they'd repeat it at least four or five times as well. Some would cheer for joy when they got their food.
So... they're all still getting their food.. and the ones who got their food first are already coming back for seconds and or deserts. *laughs*
Man.. I don't think I've ever sold so many hersey sunday pies in one night. We sold out all the thawed ones... and one guy got a frozen one. He found it amusing and had to tell his friends. "Hey guys! They just ran outta pies so I'm getting a frozen one!" Not only do they ask for crowns and such... they ask for those little Simpson's watches.
"Dude, I want the.. the.. the.. Homer watch! Yeah!"
Needless to say... I helped out with closing. I was scheduled to work from 4 to 11... but seeing as two buses in a row... and a rather big mess.. I figured they needed help in cleaning.
I feel good about myself.
