I joined a little betta community... and posted this:

Eek, I need help.
I've owned a few bettas for a while now and when the heater in the house broke down and water temperatures dropped, I did what I could to get their water back up to a steady 72-75.
I don't own an aquarium.
They're all in their own seperate bowls.. so I change their water every two or so days.
I'm sure I've done SOMETHING wrong.
Two bettas became covered in fuzz.
I'm not sure how to go about treating them since I don't own an aquarium.
I got some ick removal stuff, just in case, and the little thing said it treats a protazoan disease as well.
*beats head on desk*
One of the two sick bettas seems to be getting better, and the other seems to be getting more fuzzy.
I'm worried, I wanna help the poor little guys.
I'm sure many of your have heard these things before but I'm still new to bettas.. as in I don't know all fishie illness symptoms.
They've all been fine and healthy until that one night of the shut off heater in the house.
*has two sick ones, and four healthy ones*

-----

So I decided to toss it on my lj as well.. see if anyone out there who owns bettas themselves can help me out. *worry*

Maybe I'm just gonna have to buy all new bowls or something...
