An elitist?
Apr. 28th, 2002 08:22 pmDidn't know what that word was until Tabby told me-thanks by the way.
Uh...
I know that isn't me at all. o.o Lots of other people who know me can agree to that. I just am what I am, if things aren't perfect then, okay fine.. because it's life and life isn't perfect.
Just some... stupid stuff happened.
Why is it, everywhere I go and decide to draw, it's a farking popularity contest?? It might not seem that way to some, but there are those who have to make it seem so. Perfect place I can think of would be... oekaki boards. Not only oekaki boards but that little place I draw at called the TLK fan archive. Having a contest for an Artist of the Month kinda... increases the popularity contest as well.
So with Oekaki boards.... what, does it matter how many comments you get? =.= Stupid stupid stupid.... some of us draw just because we want to. Not so we'll get comments, if people comment then... yay? Comments boost ego trips... once said by someone a long time ago, only to comment on pics after some of us, oh so perfect artists 'left'... when I say 'left' I mean not draw there for a good long time. Or something stupid along those lines.
There's one oekaki I like to go to.. because I happen to like the people. o.o Rockman related oekaki boards are fun too. Some argument just broke loose and well... it's stupid! A dumb reason to make an argument. If people comment on your pic, they comment on your pic... but where does it say, person with the most comments on their pic is automatically perfect, special, popular... someone might've just sat down and draw something -they- liked, not to make other people 'worship' them.
Hrm.. I drew Subara.
He's got... three? comments... oh my god, should I be flipping out now because my friends didn't comment on that pic? Uh... no. o.o I just drew what I felt like drawing.
Somethings though... can get old. Constant pictures of one single person...Do some variation or draw something else... constant comments of 'this pic sucks'...It might 'suck' to the artist but everyone else seems to like it for how it is, and no... they're not boosting egos...
There are times..
When I just wonder if people stop to think of what they say before they say it. Or look at what they say that causes an uproar with other people..
-.-
